Intimacy with God is evidence of spiritual growth, maturity and development. It’s God’s desire that you thrive in fellowship with Him - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He’ll spare no expense or resource to ensure this. Holding His Gaze Reflections is one of such resources. Each entry is designed to encourage a deeper engagement with teachings on principles, precepts and perspectives of living life God’s way.
How to use these Reflections:
- Active listening: Listen multiple times. We strongly recommend that you focus on only listening the first time you play the message. No note-taking, avoid distractions and withdraw from interruptions, open your heart and mind to attentively and prayerfully receive the message.
- Reflect: Make note of scriptures, key points that come to mind in subsequent listens. The Message may highlight some of these and invite you to reflect on how they apply or impact you personally. Engage in conversation with the Holy Spirit about these things.
- Next steps: Be determined to remain in the place of reflection and meditation to keep listening to Holy Spirit. Seek guidance on next steps. What actions are required of you? Take note of what God is saying to you and be conscious of how this teaching applies to the personal process you are in with the Lord and how this links to God’s primary purpose for you - to be increasingly like Jesus.
